Description
		
This specimen is difficult to orientate; there is a large tumour mass which in fact is projecting into a 
diverticulum of the bladder; part of the diverticulum can be seen above and a cuff of bladder mucosa 
is apparent around the base of the lesion. The tumour is infiltrating bladder wall and originally 
measured 6 x 5 x 5 cm. The serosal fibro-fatty tissue does not appear to be infiltrated by tumour. 
		 History
		
This man presented at the age of 62 with an episode of haematuria. Microscopically the 
tumour is a Grade III transitional cell carcinoma. The lymph nodes removed from the specimen were 
not infiltrated by tumour.
